Crawford               Josh Crawford - PrepsNation Recruiting Film                                  Click Here to Watch Josh's Highlight

Tiny Elmore Alabama, a town in which everyone knows your name, is home to one of the South’s best kept secrets.  Powerful running back Josh Crawford, who not many college coaches know about until recently, has become a very familiar face in Elmore and nationwide. Crawford and the Edgewood Academy Wildcats have helped set a new standard of excellence on the playing field for the small school powerhouse program.  Coach Bobby Carr, Crawford and a host of others have just led the Wildcats to their 4th straight state championship and a current 45 game winning streak.

The 5'10” 205 pound Crawford had a monster junior season tallying 3,400 all-purpose yards and 46 touchdowns. Edgewood head coach Bobby Carr speaks highly of the young man, "He lights up the room when he walks in, he is a good person, and I'm very happy to have him on my team". When asked for a comparison of Crawford’s running style, Coach Carr was reminded of another running back that spent time in the State of Alabama, "He is explosive between the tackles.  He really is Mark Ingram type of running back".

Even with the undeniable talent, the production and the championships, Crawford and Coach Carr still found themselves in search of the running back’s first colligate offer. Having worked with PrepsNation in the past, Coach Carr knew just what he needed to do for Crawford’s recruiting. “We knew Josh had the talent to play at the highest level.  The only thing we needed to do was get his film touched up and sent out” said Carr.  Carr went on to say, “Just a few days after PrepsNation took over, interest on Josh started to pour in.  For that reason, we are going to remain a PrepsNation program”

PrepsNation is very proud to announce, while visiting Vanderbilt University, Josh received his first official offer.  Prior to leaving Nashville, Crawford officially gave his verbal commitment to the Commodores.

If you are looking for the right fit for you or anyone else that may be looking the best possible option for colligate advancement, follow the lead of state championship winning coach Bobby Carr.  Join the Nation Today!
